Jiro sprints through the xenobiology labs with the communicator raised to his ear. The Aveans make their pursuit close behind.

He spots what Cliff is talking about-- a raised platform with a screen on it!

He scampers up to the screen, but he's perplexed by the complexity of it. The Captain is gaining on him...!

Jiro smashes the screen with his quarterstaff.




All the forcefields on all the holo-cages fail. The Captain stands staring for a second, the Grunt following him looks around the room frantically.

Wh. Did you just--

And then, all at once, the room is filled with fluttering wings and cackling laughter as all the once-trapped angels fly free.

Jiro takes advantage of the pandemonium to make his escape with a smirk growing on his face.

  Avean Captain
YOU-- HUMAN!!! GET BACK HERE!!!!

  Cliff Mason
Ha!! Sounds like someone's in a bad mood...!

The harpy angel from before catches up to him.

The harpy angel grabs Jiro by the shoulders and carries him through a doorway outside, soaring away from the facility. The beaten and bruised captain just barely crawls out of the labs to cry out at the escaping specimens.
