Alma enters through the front door of her home, triumphantly holding plastic bags containing japanese takaway over her head. She's got Allen strapped to her back. Cliff skulks in behind her.

Alma
* We've got takeaway!!

Coral greets them as they enter. She's sitting at the dining room table with an Orb in front of her.

Coral
* Aw hell yeah! Thanks Mum!

Alma
* Please, thank Cliff! It was his idea.

  Cliff Mason
Uh. Yeah...

Alma
* You know he insisted on escorting me home after work tonight?
* Such a gentleman!

Coral
* Oh?
* Chivalrous type, are ya, Cliff? They say that's a dying breed...
* You from the future or the past? Haha!

Coral tries to get Cliff's attention while Alma sets out dinner.

Coral
* Cliff?
* Cliff I'm playfully teasing you over here. All charming-like. You gotta pay attention!

  Cliff Mason
Oh. Yeah. That was.
You really got me.

Coral
* ...
* Everything good there, mate?

  Cliff Mason
Yeah. Don't worry about me...
You didn't leave the house since we got back, did you?

Coral
* Um. No...?
* Odd thing to ask.

  Cliff Mason
You haven't seen anything unusual?

Coral
* Not... really?
* I mean, it's Fairwell. Unusual's the usual round here.

Alma and Coral tuck in to some soft, steaming dumplings.

Alma
* So how was your day, Jasper?

Coral
* Pretty good! Cliff and I had a bit of an adventure...

Alma
* Cliff! You didn't tell me about that!

  Cliff Mason
I had... other things, on my mind.

Coral
* He helped me get Dad back!
* Who is, um, in this orb.
* Just need to figure out how to get him out... it's a tough one to crack.

Alma
* Maybe good old Cliff can help you out with that one too, haha!

Cliff stares intently out the front window.

Alma
* Cliff...? Food's ready.

  Cliff Mason
Why don't you three have a quiet night in.

Hhhh... hh...

Alma
* Us three?

  Cliff Mason
...
I've got some errands to run.

Coral
* Errands. Like...?

Alma
* Come on now, Cliff! At least have dinner first?

  Cliff Mason
No. It's fine.

Cliff leaves the house. Coral watches him go with some very real concern.

  Cliff Mason
This won't take long.
