Sunny passes by the scientist pushing a rack of labcoats, snatching a coat out of it in a single smooth motion.

She marches down the hall, pulling her arm through a sleeve of the labcoat. Aveans stare at her as she pushes past.

Sunny barges into an open room with a number of avean soldiers standing at the ready.

* Outta my way, motherfuckers! I've got SCIENCE to do!

Doctor, this is serious!

An explosion goes off. Sunny is knocked off balance and falls down as chaos erupts around her.

She sees plasma bolts flying, exchanged with bursts of bullets and spurts of blue blood.

She tries to right herself again, but she's still dazed...












And then she's shocked into consciousness by the sight of dead bodies all around her.

She looks up. In front of her, surrounded by blood and bodies, carrying a gun that's about Sunny's size, is a terrifying mountain of metal and light in the shape of a man. Sunny is convinced, in this moment, that if death walked on two feet it would look something like this.

The nightmare's face is blank except for a sickly green strip of light that spans the middle of its head. It stands still for a moment.
