An arcade machine is turned on...!





A comms tower explodes. Cliff Mason leaps forth from the fiery blaze.

Four out of five communications towers deactivated. One more left.


Cliff Mason rushes forth, guns a-blazing. He runs along a rooftop of an avean industrial building. The sky is a strange colour, a ringed planet can be seen past the clouds.

  Cliff Mason
Copy that, Major. I'll get right on--

He sees a number of rockets flying towards him, fired by some distant foes.

  Cliff Mason
...Ah, jeez.

He jumps through a window, dodging just barely out of the way of an explosion. Something is wrong. Something is wrong. Something is wrong.




He lands with a wham onto a finely polished floor.








He begins to pick himself up, but then notices something above him.




A small, cherubic angel creature is suspended by chains and bound in blue-green ribbons, above him. Behind it are pale, cathedral-like windows.
